The one and only Linda Rondstadt is talking to DJ_Pete on Radioparkies on Wednesday 02:00hrs Brisbane AEST. Linda is an American popular music singer who has earned 11 Grammy Awards among many other accolades and inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. She has been a much loved and prolific recording artist, collaborating with many of the world's greatest. Selling more than 100 million records and is one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.
Ms Rondstadt was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2012 which tragically, has left her unable to sing. She is happy to share her time and talk about the diagnosis openly, her willingness to talk candidly is a gift to us all. The interview with DJ_Pete was recorded in June 2016.
Parkinson's affects people in so many ways, the top ten symptoms that may or may not be noticeable to others.... in no particular order: tremor, rigidity, constipation, depression, voice issues, chronic pain, cognitive issues, fatigue, foot drag, loss of dexterity.
